How do we know what we know about the past?

Archaeology is so much more than digging! Scientists spend much more time analyzing artifacts in the lab and writing reports than they do excavating in the field.

Join FPAN Southeast and FAU’s Anthropology Club in Room 181 of SO-44 to get some hands-on experience in archaeology with collections from our Shining a Light on the Past Field School in partnership with the Jupiter Inlet Lighthhouse Outstanding Natural Area and the Bureau of Land Management!

Please wear closed-toe shoes, avoid dangling jewelry, and be advised that food and water are not permitted inside the lab.

Paid public parking is available at the rotunda around 323 Palm Beach Pl, Boca Raton, FL, 33431.

Feel free to email southeast@fpan.us with any questions!

We’ll see you at the lab!
