How do we know what we know about the past?
Archaeology is so much more than digging! Scientists spend much more time analyzing artifacts in the lab and writing reports than they do excavating in the field.
Join FPAN Southeast to get some hands-on experience in archaeology with collections from our Shining a Light on the Past Field School in partnership with the Jupiter Inlet Lighthhouse Outstanding Natural Area and the Bureau of Land Management!
Please wear closed-toe shoes, avoid dangling jewelry, and be advised that food and water are not permitted inside the lab.
Public parking at FAU is available in lots 6913, 6914, and 6915 in the Parkmobile app. We are happy to cover parking costs for our visitors and volunteers! Email southeast@fau.edu to reserve your spot.
Feel free to call or text (954) 612-4393, or email southeast@fpan.us, with any questions!
We’ll see you at the lab!
