The Florida Public Archaeology Network is excited to offer a public Cemetery Resource Protection Training workshop in Clermont, Florida!

Learn about historic cemetery care, laws & management, followed by a hands-on training at the historic Oak Hill Cemetery in Clermont.

This event is free and open to the public.

Schedule:

9 am-11 am: Welcome & classroom portion at the Clermont City Center (620 W. Montrose Street, Clermont, FL.)

11am -12 pm: break for lunch on your own

12 pm: meet at Oak Hill Cemetery (901 East Ave. Clermont, FL.)

We recommend wearing closed-toed shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty. Headstone cleaning can get a little messy!
